Further snow has fallen down to approx 500m today, so way below resort height.  This has fallen on top of a hard compacted base of snow (as a result of the hard work of the pisteurs) and is now starting to form a real base which, given the freezing conditions should last through the season. In La Tania there is approx 40cm of fresh snow today.

Snow has fallen down to resort height throughout the last weekend and more is forecast over the next few days. It's very cold in resort with temperatures of -15 forecast tomorrow, making for good ground freezing conditions.  All this points to an excellent start to the seasons snow.
