Hi

I am with a group booked into chalet Renoir from 27th Feb (Ann is our leader!!) Basically I have been skiing twice, would'nt say I was the most confident and wanted some advise on what would be the best lesson situation to have. Would you suggest 1 on 1 or would group lessons be OK?

My concern with the group lesson would be if I would actually get any tution i.e. are the groups large etc.

Also not sure what ski package I would be best to book

Any advise would be welcome

Thanks
Sharon

Hi

Private lessons can be better in that you get more personal tuition time, but they are more expensive. Group lessons can be more fun as you get to meet people. Group lesson size depends on how many bookings are made that week, you are arriving in a peak time of the season so they are likely to be full - up to 7. Both Majic in motion and New Generation are very good ski schools in La Tania.

For your first couple of weeks of skiing group lessons are perfect because it allows for lots of practice just finding your feet, but after that some fine tuning is always beneficial and one to one lessons would enable you to progress quicker.

Hope that helps

Jo
