Hello,

I've just booked Christmas week at Chalet Jonquille and am about to book our passes. 2 of the group are non-skiers, one over 70 and one is over 75. When I add a free senior pass it shows a cost of 17 euros and the pedestrian pass is 200 euros for 6 days! This can't be right! I'm guessing I'll need to pay back the £15 discount for each person and book both their passes in resort? Is this right?

Many thanks,

Jo Rees

Hi Jo

At the time we published our prices the Pedestrian lift pass price was not published by S3V and so we enetered a fictitious amount so that people would not buy through us. You have brought this to my attention and so I am re-enteriung the prices today with the correct pedestrian pass rates.

In terms of the senior pass - the figure is the equivalent of the conditional discount. Please note that the Senior lift pass is only available to individuals who are 75 or over and we have to produce your passport to the lift pass office when you arrive in order to purchase these passes.

I hope this explains things

I think I understand. In other words, we have to pay the £15 conditional discount back to you whether we get the free senior pass through you or not. In that case it's probably easier for us to buy it when we get there if a passport is required isn't it? As we're not sure how many days they'll need their passes for I guess it'll be easier to buy the other pass in resort too?

The pedestrian passes are updated and live now. Please note they are only available in Courchevel there is no such thing as a Three Valley pedestrian pass. Once you go beyond 6 days the pass price reverts to a season long pedestrian pass price.

The price for your senior pass does not vary so however long you have it for it is the same. But as you say, as we have to take your passport down to the lift office to get the pass it may be easier for you to purchase direct and just repay the conditional discount to us. Obviously entirely up to you and we are very happy to do the legwork for you.
