Flight Information

Ski Power are pleased to be able to offer flight inclusive packages as well as flight only deals to Grenoble airport. We believe Grenoble airport provides good transfer times coupled with a low risk of delays as it is not as fog prone as Chambery.

Chat Room
If you've got any questions that aren't answered below, then log into our chat room and ask. Here you will get answers from previous guests, other people going on holiday with Ski Power and Ski Power staff themselves.

Ski Power flights
If you book flights with your holiday, Ski Power flights are available from £75 ew including all taxes and APD. If you book your flight at the same time as your holiday, the price quoted includes Coach Transfers to resort.

Private transfers alone (from other suppliers) can cost more than your Ski Power Flight which includes a Coach Transfer. We therefore compete very favourably with low cost airlines.

Ski Power have chosen to fly with Monarch for the 2011/12 Ski Season being a reputable and financially stable airline. Flights will be aboard an AB6-352 aircraft. We do need to reserve the right to change the aircraft or carrier should demand or schedules require us to do so. Monarch are a reputable charter airline and we believe this combined with their reputation for good customer service offers an ideal combination for our customers.

Your Ski Power flight and transfer includes hold luggage and we do not make any charges for checking in luggage (except for skis and boards) as the majority of low cost airlines now do. We have a generous baggage allowance of up to 20Kg in the hold and your hand luggage can be up to 56cm x 45cm x 25cm with a maximum weight of 5kg

Ski Power Ltd are confident that the above timings will be the final runway slots allocated to our flights, however, flight times are subject to confirmation and change at short notice. Fortunately this happens only very occasionally.

Ski and Board Carriage
Regrettably on this one point we have had to succumb to the modern pressures of aviation. If you wish to check in Skis or Snowboards a small charge will be levied, even if this is your only checked in luggage. You may book this up to 48 hours in advance of your departure from the Uk and the carriage charge is a competitive £20 each way. Should you leave it later then a charge of £30 each way will be levied. All passengers will be met in the check in queue at Gatwick airport and provided with an authorised baggage tag for pre-booked skis and boards, or charged appropriately and then provided with a tag should you not have pre-paid. Please note that you must book return carriage, we do not accept one way carriage.

Children under 2 (Please note that your child must be under 2 on the date of the return flight)
You may elect to purchase a seat for your child or alternatively fly with your child using a lap belt on your own seat. If you decide to purchase a seat then the full price including all taxes is payable, and a baggage allowance of 20Kg is included. (Please note that even if you have purchased a seat for your child, if they are under 2 the child will be required to sit on your lap for take off and landing) If you decide to fly with your child using a lap belt then no charge will be made for the flight element of your childs holiday, but transfer costs would still apply. Children under 1 week old are not permitted to fly. To fly with a child on your lap the child must be under 2 on the date of flying. If your childs birthday falls in between your departure and return date, a return flight would need to be booked.

Note: If you wish to bring your own car seat then these can be used, but will normally be loaded into the hold. Collapsible pushchairs and buggies can also be loaded aboard at no extra charge. These will be taken from you at the entrance to the plane and placed in the hold.

Pregnant women
If you are between the 28th and 33rd weeks of pregnancy our carrier requires you to produce a 'medical fitness to fly certificate' at check in. Passengers past their 33rd week of pregnancy are not permitted to fly.

NOTE: Due to the current volatility in oil prices and therefore aviation fuel prices, all flights may be subject to an air fuel surcharge. If Ski Power Ltd are charged an air fuel surcharge, the costs of such surcharges will be passed on in full to the client. At the date of printing (15 August 2011) the above prices were correct and no fuel surcharge applies to them.
